National Reso-phonic Guitars Model D squareneck

National Model D Square Neck Reso-phonic Guitar
The National Reso-phonic Guitar company of California continues to be our most popular brand of resonator guitar for both wood and metal body slide players.  Although the majority of our Nationals are round neck instruments,  we are finding there is a growing demand for squareneck lap-style guitars.  The Model D, pictured above, arrived recently and has been getting VERY favorable reviews from the studio steel players around town.

All of National Reso-phonic Guitars single cone and tricone guitars can be produced with a squareneck at no additional charge. The only exceptions are the single cone ResoLectric, ResoLectric Jr. and Radio-Tone Bendaway. The National squareneck guitars feature a lap-style, flat fretboard, inlaid ivoroid frets, a slotted headstock and three-on-a-plate tuners.
