| This is another incredibly well made and intelligently
designed guitar from the Godin Company of La Patrie Quebec. This
new cutaway Mini Jumbo features the Seagull tapered peghead (straighter
string pull so easier tuning), compound curve bracing system,
solid bookmatched cedar top, genuine lacquer finish (much better
for tone!), reverse headstock joint (proven to be stronger) and the
Godin EPM Quantum II pickup system!
The Quantum II is a hybrid saddle pickup/microphone
system that features volume, bass & treble controls for the saddle
pickup and a phase sensitive control to blend in the mic! This is
a VERY natural sounding system that is versatile and provides excellent
feedback rejection!
Robert Godin has always offered exceptional value
in his instruments and there is no doubt in my mind that this is the best
gigging guitar in it's price point on the market today by a wide margin!!! |
