Bob Benedetto has spent decades crafting archtop jazz guitars in his small Pennsylvania workshop. Before Bob joined up with the Guild Custom Shop in 1999, the Benedetto sound and feel was available only to a limited number of players. With the Guild Custom Shop at his side now, Bob is able to offer his masterpieces to more players without compromising quality. Benedetto's full-size archtops feature the finest hand-selected, hand-carved tone woods, as well as the signature Benedetto ebony tailpiece. These expressions of the luther's art are true to Bob's design and specifications. He is involved with every aspect of these instruments from wood selection and carving to final set up and inspection. The Benedetto name signifies the standard by which contemporary archtop guitars are judged!
