Single Resonator JM-998
Style-O
| This metal body reso-phonic
guitar is the bargain of the decade from our viewpoint. Johnson guitars
are nickel/silver plated brass bodied resonator guitars that feature
a 9 1/2" National style biscuit/cone, 24.9" scale length, 14 fret neck
joint, rolled "F" holes, adjustable truss rod, rosewood fingerboard with
pearl dots and a plank headstock with enclosed Gotoh tuners! The neck is
Honduras mahogany (matte finish) with Mother-of pearl dots and an unbleached
bone nut. Believe it or not, this guitar sells with hardshell case for
under $1000.00 (approx. $649. US)!!!!! |
Tricone JM-991
Style-1
The newest addition
to the Johnson line is this high quality triplate replica made in the Continental
facility in the Czech Republic. Tricones are less brash sounding than their
single resonator cousins, with a sweeter upper midrange and a very even
response even in the upper registers.
Featuring a nickel plated
brass body, true spun (not pressed) cones, rosewood fingerboard, plank
headstock with enclosed Gotoh tuners, 11.5 fret neck joint, 25.4" scale,
deluxe molded case and adjustable truss rod, this model is indeed an economical
way to enter the tricone market for under $1100.00 (under $700.US$) |
