Quartz OF
|
We could not be more pleased with the tone and playability
of this economically priced instrument. This mandolin features a
solid hand graduated spruce top, carved solid flamed maple back and
sides, maple neck, as well as an ebony fingerboard and bridge.
The craftsmanship is very clean and the materials are flawless. Even better,
the tone stands up to other "A" style mandolins in our store that are three
times the price! |

Quartz OO
|
The Quartz OO model has similar features to the F-hole "OF" version
but with an oval hole that seems to add a thicker, darker midrange.
This woody midrange appeals to some of our serious classical players as
well as those involved in the Celtic idiom. |
| Premier Series |
| Oregon
|
The Oregon features a hand graduated carved spruce top with "F"
holes, carved highly figured curly maple back, flame maple neck with
adjustable truss rod, ebony fretboard with suspended extension, high gloss
lacquer finish and Monteleone cast tailpiece. |
| Columbia
|
The warm, full-bodied tones of the Columbia mandolin make it a great
choice for today's classical, Celtic and folk musician. This instrument
features a Sitka spruce top, figured maple back and sides, black binding,
Monteleone tailpiece, high gloss lacquer finish as well as ebony fingerboard,
bridge and peghead veneer. |
