1963 Gibson J-45 Sunburst (SOLD)

This 1963 Gibson J-45 is in all original condition. Introduced in 1942, the Gibson J-45 is a slope-shouldered dreadnought guitar, with spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. Since its introduction, it's been a favourite with singer/ songwriters.

This particular vintage features a ceramic adjustable saddle, with a plastic bridge (as with nearly all J-45s, the bridge has two small bolts holding it to the top). The original sunburst finish has faded to a lovely ambered red, and while there is some wear it is minor. Fretwear is moderate. A brown Taylor hardshell case is included.
