S/N: 370139, built during 1967 at the historic Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Gibson Hummingbird was a hit from its introduction in 1960, and its hand-painted pickguard is instantly recognizable.
This example dates to 1967 and is in largely original condition, though gold Grover Roto-Matic tuners have replaced the original Kluson models. It has been used as intended and so it's fairly worn in some areas, but its action is low and it sounds great. The neck profile is typical of the mid 1960's, fairly narrow and slim - quite unlike the profiles of the 1950s. A hardshell case is included.
