From its introduction in late 1958, the Gibson ES-335 was a hit, but it has changed over the years. This 1980 Gibson ES-335TD has a factory stock coil tap switch on the lower cutaway, a feature found between 1977 and 1980.
Dating to May 27th, 1980 at the historic Gibson Kalamazoo plant, this ES-335 TD is in good original condition. It has been used as intended, so there is some wear and finish tarnishing, and fretwear is moderate to heavy. Still, it plays pretty cleanly and feels good. A Gibson hardshell bass case is included.
