S/N: 021302, built during 1998 at the historic Heritage plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Heritage Eagle Classic archtop guitar is built in what was the original Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. These fine instruments are hand-crafted and use time-proven designs.

The Heritage Eagle Classic is based on a traditional 17 inch (approximately one cubit) wide, full depth, single cutaway body with hand-carved spruce top and flame maple back. The sides are also flame maple. The Heritage Eagle is the same design, but with mahogany back and sides. The neck is flame maple, three pieces with two walnut layers; this layering helps stabilize the neck and resists twisting. The fingerboard, bridge base, and pickguard are ebony. The hardware, including Grover Imperial tuners, is gold-plated and there is a single humbucking pickup at the neck position. The installed pickup is a Seymour Duncan, and the original pickup is in the case.

This example was built during 1998 at the Heritage shop on Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This was the original Gibson plant. It is in excellent condition, with very little wear and plays very nicely. The original black Heritage-branded archtop case is included.
