The Fender ESM-60 was a very limited production guitar, with apparently 68 built during 2006. Production was in Ensenada, Mexico. The body is a mini-jumbo, with all solid woods; Spruce for the top, Cocobolo for the back and sides, mahogany for the neck, ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. The trussrod cover is Palo Escrito, and the rosette is abalone. Scale length is 25.3 inches with a 1 11/16 inch nut width. A Fishman Ellupse VT pickup system is installed. The tuners are die-cast Waverly made, gold finish with cocobolo buttons. The finish is a durable polyester.
This fairly rare example is in good condition, with a few small dings and play wear. There is some minor chipping at the fret ends - this is common with unbound fingerboards, as the frets don't react to humidity changes the same way wood does. The original Fender hardshell case is included.
