Archtop guitars are the mainstay of jazz playing and the Eastman AR803ce is one of the most successful modern instruments, drawing on traditional construction methods.

The Eastman AR803ce features a 16 inch wide body with all solid wood construction. The top is solid hand-carved Spruce, the sides are solid flamed maple, and the back is solid, hand-carved flame maple. The neck is maple with ebony fingerboard and a 25 inch scale length and 1.75 inch nut width. The bridge, pickguard and tailpiece cover are also ebony. The AR803CE sports a single humbucking pickup. This example has a translucent gloss amber finish.

Built in 2007, this Eastman AR803ce is in great condition and has just been serviced in our shop. The frets are freshly dressed, recrowned and polished, it's been set up, and the bridge base has been perfectly matched to the arched top. The original molded hardshell case is included.
