The Gibson SG Classic is a revival of the late 1960's Gibson SG Special, used by many rockers including Pete Townsend, Carlos Santana and Robby Kreiger of The Doors. I look at this guitar and hear The Who's 'Live at Leeds album'!

Featuring an oversize 'Batwing' pickguard and a pair of P-90's, the SG Classic is an improved version with tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, instead of the original bar bridge.

This SG Classic dates to February 23, 2010 and was built at the Gibson Nashville plant. It's in overall very good condition with a few small dings. Fretwear is so light that polishing them would make it invisible. A gig bag is included.

This guitar is out of production but click here for Gibson's page on the SG Classic Faded version built for Musician's Friend.
