Built in 2011 in Oxnard, California, this Larrivee L-09 is in good shape with very minor wear - mostly light fret wear. A rosewood arm rest has been added to the Sitka spruce top, and this reduces the damping effect of the player's arm. The sides and back are Indian Rosewood; the neck is mahogany with ebony for the headplate, fingerboard and bridge. The nut is likely tusq, and the saddle bone; the tuners are Larrivee branded chrome with ebony buttons. An L.R. Baggs element pickup has been installed, and the battery pack velcros to the neck block. There's a small amount of damage to the label - possibly from a humidifier.
This guitar plays quite well, and as is typical of the Larrivee L-09, has a full, rich, even sound with excellent articulation. It's a very engrossing instrument to play.
The original Larrivee hardshell case is included.
