Roger Sadowsky builds in Brooklyn, New York. The Sadowsky Semi-Hollow is a single-cutaway, thinline archtop electric. Rather than using the feedback-rejecting 'solid block' found in many thinline guitars, the Sadowsky Semi-Hollow uses a trestle bracing system conceptually similar to that found in some Gretsch models. This adds stiffness, sustain, clarity and feedback rejection but doesn't add nearly the same amount of weight.

This 2012 Sadowsky Semi-Hollow is presented in a very nice translucent black finish that is not normally sold in North America. The top and back are tightly flamed, while the sides and neck are mahogany, with a rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are Sadowsky branded, built by diMarzio. The original hardshell case is included.
