S/N: 006022, built during 2014 at Dana Bourgeois' shop in Lewiston, Maine.
Dana Bourgeois is recognised as one of the primary authorities on voicing steel string guitars, and the Bourgeois Slope D shows off the level of his skill.
Patterned after classic slope-shouldered dreadnought guitars, the Bourgeois Slope D is a very popular instrument. This example from 2014 features a short scale (24.75 inches, or 'Gibson Scale') and a sunburst finish. It's built with an Adirondack Spruce top and Mahogany for the back, sides and neck; ebony rounds out the wood set for the fingerboard, bridge and headplate.
This guitar is in excellent condtion with very little wear, and the original hardshell case is included.
