The Harrison GB Custom is based on a guitar originally built for Gary Benson - a thinline, chambered and arched top body with a single cutaway. These exceptional instruments are now mostly built to order, and we're glad to be able to show them off as they pass through our shop! To be clear - this particular instrument is sold, but we wanted to post it because it looks so good.
This new build use burled Redwood for the top and flamed maple for the chambered, maple-bound body and neck, and a translucent black tint has been applied. The fingerboard, headplate, pickguard and tailpisece trimmings are ebony. For hardware, Lindy Fralin pickups are installed with a 6-position 'Freeway' switch, and Hipshot tuners are at the head.
