1985 Sergei de Jonge 8 String Classical Guitar (consignment) SOLD

Comments Sergei de Jonge has been part of the Canadian guitar building community for decades, and was an early student of Jean Larrivee. Currently, his shop is in Chelsea, Quebec and many builders visit him to learn specific skills and techniques, such as French Polishing; this finishing method is becoming popular with builders as it’s much less toxic than spray lacquer finishing, requires much less equipment and, most importantly, provides a tonally superior result.

This 1985 Sergei de Jonge 8 string classical guitar is in very good condition and has a full, rich tone with sparkling highs and really way down deep lows. It’s really a remarkable experience to sit and play an instrument like this!
