2006 Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Comments Epiphone archtops are among the most popular, in both vintage and new production. Gibson purchased Epiphone in 1957 and production moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan from Philadelphia (after having been located in New York for decades). In the early 1970’s, Gibson started moving Epiphone production offshore, initially to Japan. Now, Epiphones are mostly made in Korea and China, with higher-end production in the USA. The offshore production is of high quality, and allows affordable access to proven designs. This 2006 Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II is in great shape. The compact body is comfortable yet full-sounding, and the hardware is of good quality. It’s had so little use that the foam shipping strip is still under the bridge!
