2008 Fender Twin Reverb Amp 65 Reissue (consignment) SOLD

The Fender Twin has been a standby amp for stage performances since the 1950’s. Introduced in 1952 as a 25-watt monster, the Twin gained its reverb channel and a boost to 85 watts in 1963, during the ‘Blackface’ era of Fender amplifier construction. The Twin Reverb has been in production virtually without interruption for all this time, with some changes along the way in cosmetics, circuit design details, and power output.

In 1992, Fender introduced the Twin Reverb Amp 65 Reissue, intending to make a very limited run. However, it was so successful that it’s still in production. There are a few changes from the original, many of them practical – for example the footswitch jacks are now standard 1/4 inch rather than RCA jacks. It also uses a PCB rather than a handwired board.

This 2008 Fender Twin Reverb Amp 65 Reissue is in great condition, very clean and all original, with original 12 inch Jensen C-12K speakers. No cover or footswitch included.
