Comments The Heritage Guitar company was formed in 1985 by several former Gibson employees who had opted to stay in Kalamazoo, Michigan when Gibson moved their production to Nashville, Tennessee. Heritage started in one of the former Gibson buildings, where guitars have been built since 1917, and with machinery purchased from Gibson.

This 2008 Heritage H 535 Antique Natural Thinline is in excellent condition. Reminiscent of the classic Gibson ES-335 dot, the H 535 features maple laminate construction with center block, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboar, and a pair of Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups!

Serial Number Y12704, built during 2008 (the Y is Heritage’s year code for 2008; B represents their first year, 1985) at the Heritage plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Neck Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and mother of pearl dot position markers. The Heritage logo on headstock. 24.75 inch scale length.
Frets Original medium jumbo frets with very little wear.
Body Classic double-cutaway thinline body with F-holes; solid center block and figured maple laminate top, back and sides.
Finish Clear gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish in excellent condition.
Hardware/electronics Original hardware, nickel plated. Grover RotoMatic tuners, adjustable bridge and stop tailpiece. Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbuckers, pickup selector, individual volume and tone controls, output jack on the side.
Playability/Action This instrument plays very well.
