Following the success of the Telecaster, Leo Fender decided to expand his product range and in 1954, introduced the Stratocaster. This 1955 Sunburst Fender Stratocaster is a decent example of early Stratocaster production.

In 2010, a limited series – 55 each! — of Martin 1955 CFMIV guitars were produced to celebrate the Christian F. Martin IV’s 55th birthday.
