1963 Fender Bass VI (consignment) SOLD

Relatively rare, this 1963 Fender Bass VI is in good visual, working and playing condition. Introduced in 1961 and built till 1975, Leo Fender intended the Fender Bass VI to be both a bass and a baritone guitar. But it was never the roaring success that the Precision Bass, the Telecaster or the Stratocaster were, and only about 800 of the original design were made. However, some of those 800 appear in influential music of the time, including the Lovin’ Spooful albums, The Beatles White Album, Let It Be and Abbey Road.
