Here’s a wonderful, seasoned Gibson J-45 from 1949. Warm, full and resonant, but not overly bassy, this demonstrates the classic J-45 sound, the reason that this model has been so popular since its introduction in 1942.

This guitar has been used as intended over the last sixty-plus years, and there’s wear to prove it. That use also contributes to its great sound.

The Gibson J-45 is one of the classic standard guitars for North American music styles, and has been a favourite since its introduction in 1942. With a fuller, warmer midrange tone than equivalent square-shoulder dreadnaughts, the J-45 sits perfectly in the rhythm slot for many tunes.

Gibson J-45 Vine 2000 (Consignment) SOLD

Here is a great sounding slope shoulder dreadnought with a super cool vine inlay all the way down the fretboard. The tone is well balanced with a bit darker bass and overtones courtesy of the indian rosewood on the sides and back. The guitar is in good overall condition with only minor play wear and a repaired split along the center seam.
