issue J-185 in our store for sale ... these models are rare (one of the
lowest production totals from this era!) and even rarer in Natural finish!
You can tell by the great condition of the case that this instrument has
not been taken out much ... which would account for its great condition!
Players LOVE the sound of the original issue J-185 because of the BIG sound
that comes out of this unique body style ... and collectors love them for
their rarity!

Description:... Juan Alberto Pantoja Martín has
been building guitars since 1957, and has had his own shop since 1967.
He has trained a number of luthiers, among them Frank Reijkers of the Netherlands
and Maximiano Fontiveros Sola. He works alone, using traditional
methods and designs, building his guitars completely by hand. His flamenco
guitars are vibrant and have been bought by such great guitarists as Paco
de Lucia, Sabicas, Los Panchos and the Mariachis de Santa Rosa (Mexico).

Joshia has been making guitars since she was knee high to a grasshopper
in her father Sergei's shop. She now has a very significant following
of her own and a growing reputation built on her unerring attention to
detail, exceptional skill executing the very difficult French Polish
finish ... and the sweet tone that she is able to pull out of the de Jonge
stash of exotic woods! This instrument is a very nice example of
her work and features a tightly grained cedar top in conjunction with a
beautifully grained Indian rosewood set highlighted by some dramatic spalting
in the rosette ... not to mention a very expressive and sweet voice!

but my favorite Strat that I've ever owned personally was a late '60s.
This instrument really reminds me of that guitar ... the finish is still
