Lakota Leathers Banjo Strap Non-Cradle

The Lakota Leathers Banjo Strap non-cradle, are designed for the player who doesn’t like a cradle strap. The non cradle straps attach to your banjo by utilizing two tail -sections of bison leather. These two tail sections are 3/4″ wide and are at both ends of the main body of the strap. Lakota Leathers banjo straps are unique and feature two thin tails on each end which loop around a tension hook and attach back to themselves. Two Chicago screws are used to secure the tail sections.  They’re made of soft luxurious Bison hide and 2” wide strap makes for one of the most comfortable leather straps you could ever have providing a lifetime of use.

Each Lakota Leathers strap is made and hand assembled on the Lakota Sioux Indian reservations in South Dakota USA, and are some of the softest, most comfortable, leather straps on the market. Lakota banjo straps are premium straps made for comfort. Founded in 2008 by Kenny Bohling of Sevierville, TN after Kenny realized he had been using a bison hide banjo strap for 25 years. Kenny visited the Lakota people on the Pine Ridge Indian reservation to see what he could do do help. He felt that working with the Lakota to make these high quality banjo straps was a natural fit. Lakota Leathers can now be found all over the world.
