Microfibre Instrument Polishing Cloth

The Twelfth Fret instrument polishing cloth is a specially made cloth specifically designed for guitars and instruments. They’re used for cleaning as well as the general maintenance of your acoustic or electric guitar. What sets our guitar and instrument polishing cloth from other cloths is that they are made from microfibres.
The microfibres are used for guitar cloths because they are the best for collecting dust and removing dirt and grease on your guitars. They’re also specially made to ensure that they cause absolutely no damage or scratching to your instrument. In fact, these are used to care for your guitar and make them last longer.

What is Microfibre? A synthetic fiber finer than one denier or decitex/thread, having a diameter of less than ten micrometres. The most common types of microfibers are made from polyesters, polyamides (e.g., nylon, Kevlar, Nomex, trogamide), or a conjugation of polyester, polyamide, and polypropylene. *source wikipedia

Our polishing cloth can be used to clean on literally any part of the guitar. They’re particularly useful to clean your pickups, strings and guitar body. An important thing to keep in mind is that you get different liquids available such as lemon oil or guitar polish that can be used in conjunction with the cloth to further clean and care for your guitar. However, the use of cleaning liquids are not necessarily essential however they’re generally advised. If you’re not sure which liquid to go for, choose the lemon oil. You can’t go wrong and won’t damage your instrument.

And our microfibre Instrument Polishing Cloth is the best thing for cleaning nickel plated hardware  – banjos are covered in it!
