Ramirez Studio 1 Classical Guitar

Ramirez Studio 1 Classical Guitar

The Ramirez Studio 1 classical guitar has a simple construction, which is ideal to those who want to start the adventure of playing the guitar. It has powerful bass tones and is comfortable enough to start learning to play on. Amplification can be added with Fishman, Schertler, or Midi RMC pickups. It can also be made to order with a spruce top, that adds a brighter and warmer sound, different from the roundness and depth of the red cedar. Available

M. Sakurai No.7 Classical Guitar, 1975

M. Sakurai No.7 Classical Guitar, 1975

This M. Sakurai Number 7 guitar labelled as supervised by M. Kohno, and dating to 1975. It features a solid cedar top, solid Indian Rosewood for the back, sides, headplate and bridge, Mahogany for the neck (and blocks) with Ebony for the fingerboard. The binding is also rosewood. The construction looks like it’s done in the traditional Spanish style, with a ‘slipper heel’ but it is possible that the neck actually attaches with a dovetail joint.

The Alhambra 10FP Carlos Pinana Flamenco Negra guitar, a recent model from Alhambra guitars in the eastern part of Spain.  Many contemporary Flamenco players find they need a guitar that offers a fuller and rounder bass response, as well as the traditional treble-clarity and power one expects in a traditional Flamenco guitar.
