The reissue models are built at the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana, and feature Sitka Spruce tops with Mahogany for the sides, back, neck, tail and neck blocks. The bound fingerboard is Rosewood, as is the through-saddle bridge.

MORE →This Gibson ES-175/CC dates to January 31, 1979. It’s in very good, original condition and plays well. This model is unusual, and this particular example even more so. Researching the model, most descriptions mention a ‘Second’ or ‘2nd’ stamp on the back of the headstock. This one doesn’t have that stamp, and so was deemed first quality.
