❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Classic Honey Burst 2008

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Classic Honey Burst 2008

Here’s a lovely Gibson Les Paul Classic in a Honey Burst finish, built during 2008 and with a ‘1960’ stamped creme pickguard. Built to refer to the 1960 version of the Les Paul Standard, the Les Paul Classic features a slim taper neck and nine-hole weight relief, bringing the guitar to a surprisingly comfortable weight. Aside from the weight relief, the Les Paul Classic follows the usual pattern of a lightly figured Maple cap on a Mahogany back, set Mahogany neck and bound Indian Rosewood fingerboard.

❌SOLD❌ Collings D2H GVN Dreadnought Natural 2016

❌SOLD❌ Collings D2H GVN Dreadnought Natural 2016

Based on the classic square shoulder dreadnoughts that have been dominant since their introduction in the 1930’s, the Collings D2H GVN starts with the standard D2H. This example adds a German spruce top, a “Vintage Now” neck profile and “No Tongue Brace”. The sides, back and headplate are Indian Rosewood, with Mahogany for the body blocks and neck and Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. Because it’s an D2H, it has Herringbone top purfling and a ‘zipper’ back strip. Tuners are Waverly open-gear models.
