MORE →The Greenfield G-1 is a very responsive guitar, quick to react to even the lightest touch and lends itself to many different styles of music. It has a very focused yet open sound with a tight responsive bass, transparent mids and thick, clear, ringing highs. Primarily intended as a fingerstyle guitar, it is also superb for light strumming or acoustic jazz.

MORE →The Larrivee LV-03R Steel String Acoustic Guitar is part of the Recording series, and uses the traditional Larrivee L body, drawn from the proportions of the Hauser style classical guitar. This gives it a very reliable, even tonal representation throughout the spectrum and plenty of volume when requested. The cutaway definitely adds to the upper fret accessibility. This example dates to October 29, 2012 and was built at the old Larrivee plant in Victoria, BC. It features a Sitka Spruce top, with Indian Rosewood used for the sides, back, headplate and bridge plate, and the body is bound with maple.

Commissioned in 1982 from William Laskin by Garnet Rogers, it was also used by Stan Rogers for several months until his untimely death in June 1983. Since then it has been used in multiple tours, performance and recordings.

He started building following a night course run by Bill Lewis, who went on to found Luthiers Mercantile. He has since built hundreds of instruments and has developed a unique body style for his guitars; he also offers Mandolins, Octave Mandolins and Celtic Bouzoukis.
Here we have a Laughlin Concert model steel string guitar built during 1983. Its body design is a bit smaller than a dreadnought, and is built with a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood for the back, sides, headplate and bridge with Mahogany for the neck and Ebony for the fingerboard. A Carbon Fiber rod was built into the neck for stiffness without weight.
