❌SOLD❌ B.C. Rich Wave NJ Series RWG-2 Black, 1983

This B.C. Rich Wave RWG-2 neck-through model was built under the direction of Bernardo Rico in Nagoya, Japan in 1983, following the end of the ‘B.C. Rico’ name. The B.C. Rico and B.C. Rich NJ Series line of guitars was Bernardo Rico’s response to Japanese builders copying his distinctive B.C. Rich designs at much lower cost than his hand-built US models.

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Nashville 6120DSW Archtop Electric Western Orange, 2003

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Nashville 6120DSW Archtop Electric Western Orange, 2003

Based on early 1950’s models, the Gretsch Nashville 6120DSW model is probably the iconic Gretsch with its G brand in the top and ‘Western’ motif inlays. A fully hollow guitar with tone bars and a soundpost for support, the DSW designation indicates that Dyna Sonic pickups are installed, and the Western decorations are used.

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch G6128 Duo Jet With Bigsby Black, 2016

Here’s a very clean, all original 2016 Gretsch G6128 Duo Jet in Black, with vintage-style Bigsby B3 V-cut tailpiece and Space Control bridge. This model uses the 1959 style electronics layout with two Filter ‘Trons – apparently not by TV Jones as there is no T designation – pickup selector, tone selector, plus individual and master Volume controls.

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch G6128T-59 Vintage Select ’59 Duo Jet Black, 2021

This Gretsch G6128T-59 Vintage Select ’59 Duo Jet is about as near-mint as it gets, while still technically being a used example. ’59 Duo Jet is about as near-mint as it gets, while still technically being a used example. With its construction dating to March of 2021 and built by Terada at Nagoya, Japan, this has had so little use that the protective paper liner is still underneath the Ebony base for the Space Control bridge.

❌SOLD❌ Ibanez Musician MC500 Solidbody Dark Stain, 1979

❌SOLD❌ Ibanez Musician MC500 Solidbody Dark Stain, 1979

The Ibanez Musician MC500 appeared as Ibanez hit its stride and moved away from straight copies of US models, and was built from late 1977 as a 1978 model to 1980. The Musician series used a multi-piece, neck-through design and active electronics, all quite possibly influenced by the Alembic instruments of the day. Overall, the goal was to provide maximum sustain, stability and tonal versatility in a professional grade package.

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Tennessee Rose G6119FT Thin Body Archtop Walnut, 2006

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Tennessee Rose G6119FT Thin Body Archtop Walnut, 2006

Based on the 1962 Chet Atkins Tennessean, the Gretsch Tennessee Rose G6119 was introduced in 1995, but wasn’t a ‘Chet Atkins’ model until 2007 when Gretsch re-acquired rights to the Atkins name. Consequently, the pickguard on this example has only the words ‘Tennessee Rose’ and the Gretsch logo. The 6119 Tennessean appeared in 1958 as a full size, single pickup archtop. In 1962, it was drastically revised with a new, thin body using the sealed ‘ElectroTone’ concept for feedback resistance. This design has faux F-holes, either painted or decals. It bore a pair of either Filter ‘Tron or HiLo ‘Tron pickups and the model was discontinued in 1980. Gretsch, then owned by Baldwin, folded in 1983 with Baldwin’s bankruptcy.
