❌ SOLD ❌ Gibson J-45 Steel String Sunburst with deArmond Pickup, 1970

The Gibson J-45 made its name as a workhorse guitar not long after its introduction in 1942, and they have been used by working musicians in countless gigs. Sometimes the gig needs more volume, and at some points adding a deArmond soundhole pickup was the way to go.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!! Gibson ES-345 Thinline Archtop Electric Guitar, 1964

The Gibson ES-345 is the middle range of Gibson’s ES Thinline series and first appeared in 1958, using the new Seth Lover designed Humbucking pickups.
It’s a real treat to see and play a relatively early model ES-345, this one built in 1964 at the Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and especially one in such good physical and playing condition. This guitar has been refretted and plays very nicely. The finish is in good condition, especially considering that it’s been played enough to require a refret; there is a fair amount of finish wear on the back of the neck between the 3rd and 7th positions to bare wood, but there are no dents or dings.

The Gibson ES-345 appeared in 1958 with its sister models, the ES-335 and ES-355 as a groundbreaking solution to the problem posed by rapidly increasing guitar amplifier volumes. This design provides the tonal response of an archtop with the feedback resistance of a solidbody guitar.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson EB-0 Bass Refinished Natural, 1965

It’s sometimes hard to remember that for a time, the Fender bass design wasn’t completely dominant and the Gibson EB-0 was on many hit records. During much of the 1960’s, Gibson’s EB models were used by players like Jack Bruce and Felix Pappilardi and delivered a huge, deep sound.
