❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Tennessean 6119 Walnut, 1967

Currently named the ‘Tennessee Rose’, the Gretsch Tennessean 6119 first appeared in 1958, and for 1961 gained the closed, thin ElectroTone body. Chet Atkins had been urging Gretsch to take steps to reduce feedback on their hollowbody designs, especially after Gibson introduced the center-block ES335 in 1958.

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch G6122TG Country Gentleman Player's Edition Walnut, 2016

The Gretsch G6122TG Country Gentleman Player’s Edition is the latest version of this classic updated with locking tuners, pinned bridge and string-through Bigsby. But there’s more to the updates – the neck joint was re-engineered to reduce the size of the neck block and comfortably increase upper fret access.   This change alone is a huge improvement in playability, making an already great design even better!

Fender Telecaster Custom Sunburst, 1978

The 1970’s Fender Telecaster Custom was a significant departure from the 1960’s Custom, which had basically been a stock model with a bound body. In contrast, the Telecaster Custom introduced in 1972 and built until 1979 introduced the head-end “Bullet” truss rod adjuster, the three-bolt MicroTilt neck angle adjuster, and a huge change for Fender – the Wide-Range Humbucker designed by Seth Lover.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Memphis ES-339s Compact Thinline Tobacco Burst, 2018

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Memphis ES-339s Compact Thinline Tobacco Burst, 2018

There’s a small mystery around this Gibson Memphis ES-339s Compact Thinline – the meaning of the ‘s’ after the ES-339 on the label. A first suspicion is to indicate a Spruce top, but that’s not the case here. Built like its full sized relatives ES-335, the Gibson Memphis ES-339s uses scaled-down body dimensions but full neck dimensions and scale length.
