❌SOLD❌ C. F. Martin 000-28 Steel String Guitar, 2006

Overall, this C.F. Martin 000-28 Steel String guitar is in very nice condition, with minor wear. The finish doesn’t have any significant scratches, just very light scuffing that would polish well. Fret wear is light to moderate, and there’s plenty of material for a light fret dress to make them look new. The guitar has been played, but well cared for. This body style is tonally much more even than the big D body Dreadnoughts, which tend to be weighted towards bass.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson RB-250 Banjo Mahogany, 1998

❌SOLD❌ Gibson RB-250 Banjo Mahogany, 1998

This Gibson RB-250 example dates to 1998 and is good working order.  It has just been completely worked over and set up by Anne Hartman at The Twelfth Fret.     Fret wear is moderate but it plays cleanly, and delivers that loud, clear Gibson banjo sound.   There is visible wear on the arm-rest plating, sure signs that it’s been used as intended, and that’s a good thing.

❌SOLD❌ Dieter Hopf – Manuel Adalid Artista Membrane Classical Guitar, 2009

❌SOLD❌ Dieter Hopf - Manuel Adalid Artista Membrane Classical Guitar, 2009

Dieter Hopf’s family has been building for over three centuries, and his collaboration with Manuel Adalid, the Artista Membrane, uses the newest techniques. This unique design is a limited double top – the marked oval area visible on the cedar top is less than 2mm thick, but lattice braced with a carbon fiber layer. The result is an exceptionally loud voice, its tone tempered by the standard cedar top areas, with great projection.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE! Gibson ES-350T Reissue Sunburst, 1992

The Gibson ES-350T has been built in three periods, with two scale lengths. From 1955 to 1964, it had a standard 24.75 inch scale length. From 1977-1981 and 1992-1993, the scale length is 25.5 inches. As well, the initial production used P-90 pickups till the new Humbucking models were introduced in 1957. This model was intended as a lower cost, yet professional grade alternative to the solid spruce top Byrdland, and uses laminated Maple construction for feedback resistance.  The fingerboard is Indian Rosewood, on a Maple neck.

❌SOLD❌ Larrivee OM-60 SH Orchestra Model Acoustic Guitar, 2005

❌SOLD❌ Larrivee OM-60 SH Orchestra Model Acoustic Guitar, 2005

This example of the Larrivee OM-60 SH dates to January 14, 2005 and was built at the Larrivee shop in Oxnard, California. It is in good shape, but it has been used as intended and over the years has required some repairs. There are two repaired and cleated cracks in the top. There is a bit of finish chipping and marking, mostly around the edges. Fret wear is moderate, and mostly in the lower positions. However, it plays very well and sounds great.

❌SOLD❌ Collings OM1A Julian Lage Signature Guitar, 2018

❌SOLD❌ Collings OM1A Julian Lage Signature Guitar, 2018

This Collings OM1 A Julian Lage signature model, using the A for Adirondack Spruce top option, is an exceptional guitar and was the last collaboration by Bill Collings before his death in 2017. Based on Lange’s original 1939 000-18, the Collings OM1-JL uses traditional materials – spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck, and ebony for the fingerboard, headplate and bridge. The nut and saddle are bone. The  tuners are by Waverly, and work very well.   On this guitar, the neck is carved to match Lange’s.
