The Gibson Advanced Jumbo slope-shoulder dreadnought was first built between 1936 and 1940, with its X-brace 'Advanced' towards the soundhole (also known as forward-shifted bracing). Only 300 were made.

Seen here is a 2012 Gibson Advanced Jumbo 75th Anniversary model, dating to July 26, 2012 at the Gibson Acoustic shop in Bozeman, Montana - run by Ren Ferguson.

For the 2012 run of this guitar, Adirondack Red Spruce was used for the top, and Northern Indian rosewood for the back and sides. This is a full scale guitar at 25.5 inches, with a 1.725 inch nut width and a 12 inch fingerboard radius.

This guitar is in exceptional condition, and has a wonderfully warm, woody tone that should develop nicely as it's played. The original case is included.
