Jerry Jones Neptune 12 String SOLD and Discontinued

The sound of the electric 12 string guitar has been ubiquitous in recorded pop music over the last 40 years. Without this chimey layered jangle … well, bands like the Byrds, Beatles, Tom Petty and countless others would simply not have had “their” sound.

Jerry Jones has been sought after specifically for his 12 string guitars for decades and this shorthorn 2 pickup version of his popular Neptune series is an excellent sounding example. Tim Cameron was gracious enough to record this instrument for us … once plugged straight in to an amp and once utilizing the popular “Jangle Box” to give you an idea of the appeal of Jerry Jones’ signature sound!
