New Shop Worn Ramirez model 2NE. Built in late 2012, this guitar is virtually unplayed and comes with full warranty.
A customer bopped the top with another guitar last week and put two chips in the top near the edge of the upper bout. They are filled with fresh finish, so the top is protected, but it is not invisible.

Born in Osaka, Japan, Masaru Kohno studied under Arcángel Fernández in Madrid, Spain from 1960. By 1967, he was winning world-level guitar building competitions.

Known for very high quality workmanship, materials and tone, this is an excellent example of Kohno’s work.

In the late 1950’s folk music revivals started in many countries. In response to this, instrument companies started making more nylon string instruments, which differ from what we now call ‘classical’ instruments in many ways. They are based on steel-string instruments, are intended to be strummed or plucked, and the neck is narrow enough that you can use your thumb for fretting!
