The Gibson J-35 is back, and what an entrance!

Originally produced in 1936, the J-35 was displaced by the classic (and slightly more expensive) J-45, and went out of production in 1942. About 3000 were originally made.

The headstock has the vintage Gibson script logo and the “Only A Gibson Is Good Enough” banner.

Guitars are wonderful as works of art, but equally fascinating is the story of their use. This 1937 Gibson J-35 is an authentic piece of Canadian musical history. It worked at a lot of shows and dances during the late 1930’s and 1940’s in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, and built a lot of character during that time.
