Description:… Here is an all original mid 60′s J-45 in great shape other than some cosmetic wear and tear and a some fret wear. Typical of this era with the large pick guard the neck is very slim.
The warm and woody tone we have come to expect from these guitars is there and the guitar plays really well.
Neck:… Mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 24 3/4″ scale length, 1 4/8″ nut width, low profile neck shape, finish chipping of the side of the neck, music store logo on headstock.
Frets:… Medium ware mostly in first position.
Body:… Slope shoulder dreadnought, sitka spruce top, mahogany sides and back, thick pickguard, rosewood adjustable saddle.
Finish:… Sunburst top, medium amount of lacquer checking, scratches and dents.
Hardware/electronics:… Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with white buttons, strap pin installed on neck heel.
Playability/Action:… Good playability with current action at 6/64″ bass side and 4/64″ treble side.
Case:… Brown Japanese hardshell case.
