Frets Probably original narrow frets in good shape. Some weatr
Body Alder offset body
Finish Fender red sunburst in decent shape, especially considering the instrument is 50 years old.
Hardware/electronics Two single coil Jazzmaster pickups, volume and tone, pickup selector, volume presets. Original inline Kluson tuners.
Playability/Action This guitar plays really well, and like any Fender can be set up for any style by adjusting the geometry.
Case Original Case
Comments Leo Fender introduced the Jazzmaster intending that it would take off and replace the Telecaster and Stratocaster; despite its qualities, it didn’t quite work out that way. This is one of the nicest Jazzmasters we’ve seen as far as playability. Everything you want a Jazzmaster to be!
