The T5X is based on Taylor’s successful T5 model, with the top made of Ovankol, an African relative of Rosewood. Here’s the Taylor page on the T5X
The 3-element pickup system makes this a very versatile and good-sounding instrument. The system is active, with a 9 volt battery access on the back. All of the electronics are very easily accessible.
