❌SOLD❌ Godin 5th Avenue Edition Speciale PT Indigo Blue, 2009

The Godin 5th Avenue archtop model was introduced at the 2008 NAMM show, it was a surprise hit given that this type of guitar has been seen on fewer stages since the early 1960s. Since then, the 5th Avenue has been seen in a number of variations with different pickup configurations, with and without Bigsby True Vibrato tailpieces, with and without cutaways, and in a host of finishes. Seen here is the Godin 5th Avenue Edition Speciale PT sporting an Indigo Blue finish.

❌SOLD❌ Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA Natural, 2021

The Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA is the direct descendant of a Chet Atkins idea – a nylon-string guitar built to be amplified. The initial models were built by Gibson as the Chet Atkins CEC (Cutaway Electric Classic). Eventually, Gibson discontinued the model but Godin took the concept and improved it dramatically, even including synthesizer interface electronics.

❌SOLD❌ Godin Multiac Jazz Lightburst, 2003

❌SOLD❌ Godin Multiac Jazz Lightburst, 2003

The Godin Multiac Jazz, like other Multiac models draws from the early 1980’s Gibson Chet Atkins Classical concept – a solid bodied, set-neck guitar with a piezo bridge pickup and preamp set. While Gibson did not pursue this as diligently as they might have, Godin stepped up to produce an excellent, durable and very versatile instrument with a wide range of applications, and very little feedback at stage volumes!

Yamaha AEX1500 Archtop Electric Sunburst, 1995 – No Longer Available

Yamaha AEX1500 Archtop Electric Sunburst, 1995 - No Longer Available

Built in Japan from 1994 to 1999, the Yamaha AEX1500 is a single-cutaway archtop electric guitar originally designed by Yamaha and British jazz guitarist Martin Taylor. Taylor used these guitars as his touring instruments. While these models were sold in North America as the AEX1500, in Europe and the UK they were called the “Martin Taylor” model. The Yamaha AEX1500 is built, like many other professional grade archtop electrics, with Laminated Maple for the top, back and sides. The use of laminates improves both physical stability and feedback rejection at stage volumes.
