S/N: T5289, built during 1959 in Chicago, Illinois.
Supro made an enormous number of musical instruments and amplifers for the American mass market, like this 1959 Supro Ozark guitar.

The Supro Ozark appeared between 1952 and 1954 as a non-cutaway solidbody with a neck pickup. In 1958, the Supro Sixty was renamed the Ozark, as a single cutway solidbidy with a lap steel bridge and pickup assembly. This example has a copper- or bronze- burst finish andd it's in good condition with expected wear and tear around the edges, and a few small dings on the top, back and neck. It's one of the cleanest I have seen from this period.

This fine vintage guitar is in quite clean condition and appears to be all original, except for the strings, and comes with the original fibre (cardboard, faux gator) case.
