The Twelfth Fret ~ Since 1977 ~

Made in USA, Harmony guitars for over eight decades supplied the low and middle areas of the musical instrument market.  Located in Chicago, Illinois the company began in 1892 and in 1916 it was purchased by Sears, Roebuck and Co.

Between 1928 and 1975, Harmony became the largest producer of musical instruments in the USA, and by extension in the world.  They built over ten million guitars under a host of brand names before closing in the face of low-priced imports.

Harmony brands included Stella, Silvertone, Sovereign, Valencia, Monterey and Vogue.

In 2018, the Harmony name was purchased and re-launched by BandCamp Technologies and again produce Made in USA Harmony electric guitars and amplifiers.
