Overwater Basses are now built in Carlisle, UK, by Chris May and team, grown from a small basement shop on Denmark Street in London during the late 1970’s. A larger shop was set up in Newcastle, and this led to a focus on high quality basses rather than guitars. Custom designed active electronics have long been a feature of Overwater basses.
