The Twelfth Fret ~ Since 1977 ~

Patt Lister

Patt Lister built guitars in the Collingwood area from the late 1950s after working in the British aerospace industry, from which he drew structural inspiration.

His guitars featured innovative bracing patterns, especially lattice styles. Lister suffered a stroke and retired from building in the early 1980s. Sergei deJonge apprenticed with Patt Lister after working with Jean Larrivee.
