The new Marshall SV20C in the Vintage Studio line is a portable combo with the raw power and classic rock voicing of the original Marshal Plexi all valve tone.  The Marshall 1959SLP “Plexi” amp that defined the sound of 60’s rock and roll is considered a classic, but for most players the large size and deafening volume of the original meant it wasn’t practical.

This modern version, the Marshall SV20C, brings down the wattage to 20 or 5 via the High/Low power selection switch. The 1×10 inch  Celestion V-type speaker helps to keep the size of the combo down but still pairs beautifully with the all valve tone provided by the 2 EL34 power tubes.  Another nice touch on this classic amp is the addition of a switchable series effects loop.

This model has four input jacks, two each for the Normal and High Treble channels, and these can be connected with a short cable to provide more more tonal flexibility!

Still handcrafted in Britain with iconic stylings and tones from saturated blues to biting classic rock leads, make this amp unmistakably Marshall!
