❌ SOLD❌ Reinhardt 18 Combo 1×12 Tube Amplifier, 2007

Brand:

Today we are looking at a rare beast – a Reinhardt 18 Combo 1×12, recalling and extending the sounds of the early 18-watt Marshall combos.

Reinhardt amps were built from 2004 to 2012 by Bob Reinhardt in Lynchburg, Tennessee. In 2012, Reinhardt closed his amp shop to focus on one of his other passions, running the engine program for an NHRA Pro Stock team. There is little dating information available on these amps. We’re calling this a 2007 model based on the ’07’ leading the serial number.   It does not have the power scaling features available on later models.

This amplifier is in good condition. The original speaker was replaced with a mid-1970s Celestion G12M, and has certainly been disconnected and reconnected.  The covering is in good shape, with just a little dust – this amp does not look like it was roaded.

This  Reinhardt 18 Combo,  is in its original configuration – it is unmodified and the circuitry is stock.

At this point there is not a lot of information on the Reinhardt 18 Combo, but the comments and descriptions of them are almost universally very positive. For a number of players, these amps displaced all of the other amps they owned as they are capable of going from clear, clean steel type tones to crunchy rock sounds with a considerable amount of volume.

Here is an owner’s review of this particular amp:

“The build is top notch, its sound and response to playing dynamics are fantastic.”
