❌SOLD❌ Tone King Imperial 1×12 Combo Amp Turquoise-White, 2010

Built in Baltimore Maryland, the Tone King Imperial is a 6V6 based, 22 watt 1×12 tube combo amp with a built in power attenuator for use at any volume!

Here we’re looking at a Tone King Imperial sporting Turquoise / White dress and in great condition. This amp was hand built in Mark Bartel’s Tone King shop in Baltimore, MA. In 2010, Premiere Builder’s Guild had just purchased Tone King, which they held till they closed in 2016, ending Bartel’s association with the brand. Tone King is now part of Boutique Amps Distribution, and from 2017 Mark Bartel builds amps under his own name.

This hand built, two channel amplifier features a Birch ply cabinet with a very nice two-tone covering. For tubes, four 12AX7’s and one 12AT7 run the preamp, reverb and trem circuits, with a 5AR4 rectifier and a pair of 6V6GT power tubes providing 22 watts. It is in great shape with no signs of being roaded. The original Tone King footswitch, controlling Tremolo and Channel switching.
