Comments Here’s a 2002 Shannon Double Cutaway steel string acoustic.
For some time, Canada has had a lot of independent instrument builders, working away all over the country. Larry Shannon has been building in Innisfil, Ontario for some time.

This example is from 2002, and features a double cutaway body using a cedar top and Pau Ferro back and sides.

Serial Number N/A, built during 2002 in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada.
Pricing $1299 CAD with hardshell case. No Longer Available
Neck Mahogany neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard; abalone side dots for position markers.
Frets Original frets in good condition with minor wear.
Body Double cutaway body with cedar top and Pau Ferro back and sides. 4.25 inch body depth and 15.75 inch body width. Pau Ferro bridge.
Finish Original gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish with some natural checking.
Hardware/electronics Grover Roto-Matic tuning gears, bone nut and saddle. A Fishman active under-saddle pickup was been installed some time ago, so there is an endpin jack and a 9v battery holder at the neck block.
Playability/Action Plays well and cleanly.
Case Hardshell case included.
